The city of Verona is part of Great Wine Capitals Global Network: 12 international cities sharing a key economic and cultural asset: their internationally renowned wine regions.
Being founded in 1999, the Network has developed and introduced several projects, initiatives and programs with the objective of achieving excellence in tourism, business services and education within the global alliance of its renowned wine regions.
During the event Verona Wine Tourism, that took place on June 7th sponsered by the Chamber of Commerce of the city, seven companies from the Verona province were awarded for their great assets in wine tourism.
LE CAREZZE gained the award “SUSTAINABLE WINE TOURISM PRACTICES” with the following motivation:“For the commitment shown in creating an oasis in nature, taking care of the flora and fauna as well as the vines, combining the passion for wine with the preservation of the ecosystem.”
